    avoid tomatoe and tomato juice, lemon and other acidic foods!! also avoid cokemedication called H-2-receptor blockers,are a different type of antiacids and might be useful: cimetidine (commercially Tagamet HB) or famotidine (commercially Pepcid AC) can be used!Tums is another type of antacids which might be useful !H2 blockers are good for night and may be benificial during the daybut if you get a reflux during the day PPIs (omperazole and others) are your best choice!! try taking another PPI , if it doesnt work for you!! then change to H2 blockers which shouldnt give you the side effects!best of luck*** if all this doesnt work, see a specialist, you might have a diaphragmatic hernia or other medical condition requiring surgery or more aggressive treatment
