How do you treat fever blisters?

Currently there is no cure for fever blisters! Some medications can relieve some of the pain and discomfort associated with the sores, however! Buy Carmex from any drug store and apply it to your lips! Any Suggestions here?

I was pretty much screwed, because its hard to avoid all of those all of the time! I finally went to the dermatologist, and they prescribed me Valtrex! It does wonders now! I never ever get them , and if I feel one coming on, or even if one already popped up!! I just take two Valtrex and then twelve hours later take two more!! and its gone! Hopefully you have insurance though, because with out that it costs over three hundred bucks for fifty 1 gram pills! -But it doesnt have any side effects which makes it even better! And if your friends make fun of you for having Valtrex!! tell them to F off! Some people arent educated enough!! and think that its only for genital herpes! Its a big joke for me now!! I make an announcement now when Im about take it!
