I have always wondered is there another way to clean a Coffee pot or the Filter that holds the Coffee grounds. (other than vinegar.)
the type of coffer filter is V shape Gevalia style. So, ice will not work.

I have had the same coffee pot for about two years. I use vinegar to clean it out regularly, but I still get water residue in the main chamber(where you pour the water). I can’t seem to clean it out, and I hate to use something harsh like bleach or CLR. Any suggestions, OTHER than vinegar?

I have read that you can clean the stains with ice, salt and lemon juice. Can this be used with stainless carafes as well as glass? The coffee pot has a lot of build up (it makes up to 5 pots a day).
We have tried “brewing” vinegar. I’m just trying to get the black buildup off of the carafe.

I have a little water fountain and it runs slow and the things stop turning. There is a high salt/mineral content in our water and I think the little tubes are clogged some. What about vinegar, like cleaning a coffee pot out? Thanks.
