To get hair dye out of carpet can be quite the challenge. Depending on the fabric type you may be able to get some of it out with soap and water if you act quick enough. Once the color sets you can try acetone nail polish remover to pull the color out but chances are the color won't return to the original state unless you do a color correction on the carpet strands.
