    I just installed a shower diverter so one side would be for the hand-head shower head and one would be for the device I use to wash my dog. I don’t know why it’s leaking. Is the black washer supposed to be inside the shower faucet as well as in the diverter?

    I pulled the knob off the shower diverter in a tub spout. The knob and stem have not threads. It seems to have been pressure fit on.

    plumbers, does it make sense to buy expensive shower diverter valves & showerheads (german brands like hansgrohe). should you consider the water pressure in your home before deciding on the diverter valve ?

    The one I am looking for looks like a “Y” one leg for hand held shower the other with a standard shower head, each leg has a soap up shut off valve. Big box plumbing don’t stock anymore.

    The diverter knob fell off and now it will not switch to shower mode. I went and bought a new faucet thing with a diverter attached, hooked it up and when I pull the diverter up, nothing comes from the shower head. Please help. I’m obviously not familiar with showers/diverter things! Help!

    so i went to pull the shower diverter that is on the faucet in the bath, and somehow the knob on top came unscrewed and i now have a plastic stopper, a metal pole and knob. I have no idea how this goes back in the faucet. Can anyone help? or should i somehow replace the faucet?

    When I turn shower knob, water comes out of shower head, but still out of tub faucet, which is cold water.
    Shower head water is OK temp.
