If you buff a tile floor before you buff it does and spray water on it it hurt the floor or buffer or either?

Spray buffing uses a polishing compound the shine you need on the wax.Buffing works on two principles… polishing, and heat. Water actually acts a lubricant, rather than a polish, thus, defeating the purpose.Buffing 5 nights a week, you ARE going to need to add a coat of wax every now and then… how often is going to depend on how much traffic your floor gets, and how much buffing you have to do to put the shine back on it. Do not confuse this with ‘strip and wax’. Strip and wax, refers to taking ALL the wax off, down to the bare floor… then you must reseal the floor, and add one or two good coats of wax on top of that… takes awhile to do all of that.I once walked into an establishment, that was looking for a contractor, and the administrator took me to a hall, and asked ‘What is this grey buildup along the walls?’ — I laughed… and replied, ‘Whoever has been doing your floor maintenance, has not been mopping before they applied new wax’. Their ‘janitor’ had been buffing the floor, and then adding a coat of wax — without mopping the floor first to pick up the dust created by buffing the floor.Typically, you want to dust mop a floor after buffing, if you are not using a buffer with a vacuum built in to it. Many self-propelled buffers use a ‘mopping action’ to help clean the floor as it buffs, and this works well.DONT use Armor-All — lol — I was a maintenance tech at a department store many many years ago… and some bottles of Armor All had been spilled the night before… the on duty janitor decided to just buff the floor — lol, he created a skating rink. I had to strip the floor completely and re-seal, and wax it to keep people from falling on it, lol.If nail polish remover ever gets spilled, even if it is mopped up immediately, and rinsed with cold water… you are going to have to strip the wax there, and reseal it… the acetone will continue to work on the wax, even after you think you have the spill mopped up to help put a shine bit quicker, than dry buffing… In my experience, you end up taking the with this method.Using just water will only muck on the wax floor a wax off a bit faster up your buffer pads, and will not help get.Have Fun

strcpy when dest buffer is smaller than src buffer

This is a buffer overflow, and undefined behavior. In your case, it appears that the compiler and overwrites part of src has placed dest sequentially in memory. When you copy from src, it continues copying past the and src to dest end of dest.
