From experience I can state that to measure feet requires a tape measure. Measure the foot from heel to the top toe and it will give you a fairly good idea of the size of your foot. It should be noted that shoes come in sizes that are not completely compatibly due to the shoe considering space and such, but providing the result of the tape measure will be fine in purchasing a pair of shoes for the most part.

So I was looking online at two pairs of shoes, one measuring 8 inches from heel to toe, the other measuring 10.5 inches from heel to toe. So do I just measure my foot from heel to toe and if the measurements match up, they fit? How do I measure my foot so I know if those shoes will fit?
