    1! the pain of a tattoo varies for everyone, i have seen people pass out or cry, and i myself have fallen asleep actually! also, the right mindset going into it helps, meaning dont work yourself up or think that it will hurt, just relax and breathe!2! i would talk to your family about the reason behind you wanting the dragonfly, your reason is more personal than just walking in a shop getting something random, which might make them understand a little bit more!3! i do like the dragonfly and your reason behind it!but i do have to say that unless you are heavily tattooed already, next to no artists are willing to tattoo your hand, face or front of your neck (its kind of a general rule)! if they say that they will, they may just want the money from you! not to mention the fact that hand tattoos fade much more quickly than any other area, because it is constantly exposed to sun, hand washing, etc! i would get your wrist done if you want it to be visible, i have 2 wrist tattoos (and never wear long sleeves), so everybody sees mine right away!
