What does it mean if you have a black mole?

Most moles are not melanoma, but a dermatologist can assure you that the mole is harmless, or perform a biopsy to check the mole! They can be of several different colors, black included! ! Any Suggestions here?

    Any change in a mole is something you want to get checked out! And my doctor suggested that because I have quite a few moles that I should get a full body check at the dermatologist once a year! Something to consider!
